More than Enough: God's Vision of You as a Woman

Updated: Nov 24, 2024

Welcome to a space where we can take a moment to recognise the profound value we hold as women - not only in the eyes of our families, friends, and communities but, most importantly, in the eyes of God. At Konnect3, we believe that every woman is precious, strong, and powerful in her own unique way, and that’s not just a lovely thought - it’s a biblical truth.

The Bible overflows with stories of strong, wise, and courageous women who were chosen and empowered by God to make a difference. These women faced challenges, showed resilience, and trusted God deeply. Their stories were written thousands of years ago, but their examples continue to inspire and remind us of the inherent value God places on each of us.

  1. God’s View of Women Is Different and Greater Than the World’s

The world often sets standards and expectations for women that can feel confining or limiting, judging us by appearance, success, or by how well we fulfill roles that others define for us. But God sees us in a far superior light, valuing us not by external standards but by our hearts, faith, and unique purpose. In 1 Samuel 16:7, God says, “People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” This reminds us that God’s view of us is rooted in our essence, in who we are, not in what we do or how we’re perceived.

While society may measure a woman’s worth by her achievements, appearance, or status, God values us as His daughters, beloved and irreplaceable. We are chosen, empowered, and celebrated for our unique strengths. God’s view is liberating and deeply affirming - it doesn’t box us in but rather sets us free to live boldly as His creation.

  1. You Are His Daughter: Loved and Cherished

God doesn’t view us merely as “followers” or “servants.” He sees us as His daughters. This is a powerful identity! As a loving Father, God cherishes us, guides us, and sees our worth, even when we might struggle to see it ourselves. Imagine the love you feel when you think of someone dear to you. That feeling is just a fraction of how deeply God cares for you.

The Bible says in Zephaniah 3:17, “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” God’s love for us as His daughters is filled with joy, protection, and unwavering care.

  1. God Created Women to Be Strong and Wise

The world often defines “strength” in terms of power or dominance, but God sees true strength as resilience, courage, and faithfulness. Proverbs 31 paints a picture of a woman whose worth is “far above rubies,” and who is both capable and compassionate. This isn’t about perfection; it’s about living with purpose and a heart aligned with God. The strength we carry is the kind that holds families together, lifts others up, and shines through in challenging moments.

Consider Deborah from the book of Judges. As a prophetess and judge, Deborah was a strong leader who wasn’t afraid to step up and guide her people through difficult times. She listened to God, led with courage, and helped bring peace to her land. Her story reminds us that God sees our strength and entrusts us with significant roles - even in a world that may overlook us.

  1. God’s Wisdom Flows Through Us

Wisdom is one of the most valuable gifts God bestows, and it’s something He grants to all who seek it, especially women. Think about Esther, who showed remarkable wisdom and courage in standing up for her people, even when it put her at great personal risk. She trusted God and used her influence to save her nation. Esther’s story tells us that, as women, we are vessels of God’s wisdom and courage, equipped to make a difference in the lives of others.

James 1:5 encourages us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally.” When we seek God’s guidance, He grants us insight and clarity, empowering us to make decisions and lead others with confidence. This wisdom is a gift, one that we can apply in our families, communities, and workplaces.

  1. A Call to Hope and Purpose

If you’ve ever felt overlooked, exhausted, or uncertain, remember that God sees you fully. He knows every detail of your heart and the dreams and struggles you carry. Psalm 139 tells us that God formed us with intention, knowing and valuing every part of us. As women, we are uniquely created with gifts, perspectives, and abilities that can impact the world in ways only we can.

At Konnect3, we aim to foster these connections and remind you of your value. Every retreat and gathering is designed to nurture the truth that, as God’s daughters, we are capable of doing incredible things. You are part of God’s masterpiece, called to live a life of purpose and joy.

  1. Biblical Women Who Inspire Us Today

  • Mary, Mother of Jesus: Mary’s faith and humility are a timeless reminder of the strength found in obedience and trust. Though young and uncertain, she courageously accepted God’s call, bringing hope and salvation to the world.

  • Ruth: Despite hardships, Ruth remained loyal, showing us the power of love and commitment. Her story is a beautiful reminder that God values our loyalty and blesses those who live faithfully.

  • Martha and Mary: These sisters demonstrate the balance of service and devotion. Martha worked to serve Jesus practically, while Mary sat and listened. Both women are valued, showing us that God appreciates our efforts in all forms - whether through service, devotion, or love.

  1. Embracing Our Value as Women

When we reflect on these examples, we realise that God has always valued women - not as secondary figures but as central to His story. He calls us to live boldly, to share our wisdom, and to stand in the strength He’s given us. So, wherever you are on your journey, know that God has placed immense value in you.

We hope this message fills you with hope, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. At Konnect3, we’re here to remind you of your worth, to encourage you in your faith, and to celebrate the incredible woman God created you to be.
